Sen Lek Thai Noodles: Pad Thai

Pad Thai is one of Thailand's national dishes. Also called Phat Thai, this dish consist of stir-fried rice noodles mixed with eggs, fish sauce, tamarind juice, chilli pepper with any combination of bean sprouts, shrimp, chicken and tofu, topped with crushed peanuts.

I was able to try this dish from Sen Lek Thai Noodles at Festival Mall Alabang. Sorry to say that I did not like the taste. Maybe because of the tamarind juice that gives it the Sinigang-like taste. Also the herbs and spices do not suit my taste. I’m not a great fan of herbs, maybe that is the reason the dish does not appeal to me. Also the texture of the rice noodles is a little it too slippery.

But still, I enjoyed the experience trying something new. Maybe there are other Thai dishes that will suit my taste. How about you guys? What is your favorite Thai Dish?

Until the next foodtrip. Keep on eating.
